My name is Karen McGeough and I am the coach and corps director for Ballyfermot Superjettes.
I began twirling at the age of 7 with a baton twirling group in Ringsend.
I then joined Ballyfermot Superjettes at the age of 16 and when Michelle, the Superjettes old trainer moved to Navan, I began to train the girls.
We have worked hard to build up the Corps and we're are now delighted with our team of keen and eager twirlers.
I have a number of teachers and judges exams.
I have also spent over two years as the ViceChairman of the IBTA, so I have a good understanding of the rules and regulations of the sport.
I am constantly looking for ways to promote the sport of baton twirling in Ireland.
